It all started with the massive lawsuit against CEO Bobby Kotick.

The lawsuit stated that Kotick, despite knowing about the harassment cases in the franchise, chose to stay silent about them.

He was aware of every mishappening but decided to let it slide for unknown reasons.

This created chaos in the headquarters as the employees lost faith in their code of conduct.

As time passed by, the franchise tried to recover from the CEO scandal.

However, they were unaware of anything coming their way as they immediately got hit by California for unhealthy work culture.

Several government agencies filed lawsuits as they wanted to investigate the misfortunes inside the franchise.

It affected the employee count on a major level as over 100 employees walked out demanding for the CEO to step down.

Amidst this chaos, the Call Of Duty franchise constantly tried to search for a win and get back in the game.

As a result, they partnered with different developers to add new games from their publishing house.

This gave rise to the release of a new title in the Diablo series, Diablo Immortal.

However, their hope of getting back on the top added another barrel, as the company reported a decline in its player base.
