This means that players will be stuck with CoD’s 2022 title, Modern Warfare 2 for two years.
The 2022 iteration of the iconic franchise is set to be a direct sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare.
The game will be built on a brand-new engine, and the development of the game is being led by Infinity Ward.
