Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s release date is inching ever closer, but how can new players to the title level up quickly? The new game is set to release on October 28th of this year, and the hype for the game, as well as its spin-off Warzone 2, is reaching fever pitch.

The upcoming sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare will place players back into the boots of Task Force 141 in the campaign, but perhaps the biggest selling point of the game is the multiplayer element.

The beta, which has been released on PlayStation over the weekend and was playable from September 16th to September 20th for players who had pre-ordered the game, and from the 18th to the 20th for all PlayStation players, has only served to increase the hype.

The beta will restart for PlayStation players from September 22nd to September 26th, while there will also be Xbox and Steam early access this week.

So the big question right now is this: How do you rank up quickly? The grind is part of what makes Modern Warfare 2 so addictive and we’ve put together a list of things you’ll need to do to soar through the levels.

How to rank up quickly in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 There will be some very obvious tips in here, but also some that maybe you won’t have thought of when you dived straight into the multiplayer element of the game.

Let’s take a look at what you’ll need to do to start improving your level! Play The Objective This is always sentient advice in Call of Duty.

It has always been the case that sometimes players need to be focusing mainly on the objective within the game as opposed to their kill-death ratio.

It might seem counterintuitive initially but you’ll gain more XP for capturing flags, planting bombs, and reviving team-mates than you will for having a few kills here and there.

In Team Deathmatch, of course, you’ll need to kill as many enemies as you possibly can but we’d advise you to play other modes, where you can rack up objective points too! Complete Daily Challenges There are three daily objectives per day and they are split into three different types: General Challenges, Weapon Challenges, Special Challenges.

The General Challenges are pretty simple and they have objectives such as getting a three-kill streak or simply winning a match.

Weapon Challenges task you with performing certain kills with certain weapons, such as headshots or sniper kills.

If you manage to do all three on one day, you’ll unlock a Bonus Challenge that gives you a huge dump of XP.

They’re a lot harder and may involve long-range kills or something equally difficult.

XP Tokens This isn’t really cheating; the XP Tokens are there for you to use! You can unlock these simply by playing the game and then you can go the main menu and turn them on.

Doing this will reward you with a big XP boost that could last between 15 minutes and an hour.

It’s absolutely perfect if you’re just jumping in for a quick game and want to ensure that you can jump up a couple of levels.

Don’t Focus On One Weapon This might seem like strange advice given that you can gain plenty of XP by completing weapon challenges, but we’d advise that you try to become something of a jack-of-all-trades, so you’re consistently upgrading weapons.

If you stick with one assault rifle for hours, it’s going to become harder and harder to unlock new attachments, skins, and XP boosts.

As a result, it’s best to have a rotation of weapons that you’re comfortable with; ideally one in each class, so you can consistently unlock new XP boosts.

It’s a good way to get levelled up quickly. Keep it tuned to GiveMeSport for all the latest gaming news! News Now - Sport News
