Same is the case with Modern Warfare II as well, that has already witnessed a 2x XP weekend earlier this month.
However, there are even more ways to earn this mechanic, using in-game tokens.

In case anyone missed to keep track of events, Infinity Ward and Activision had rolled out the first Double XP event at the end of November 2022 until December 2nd for all the platform users.
It allowed them to earn three times the XP points while playing the game for three days.
Moreover, the most recent Double XP event in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II was introduced with Season 1 Reloaded update.
Arriving on December 14th, it kicked off a double xp weekend starting from December 15 to December 19.
However, there’s still a good opportunity left for the players to keep earning extra points.

Secondly, playing the Campaign will also give them valuable Double XP.
Players can earn this huge benefit by using the Double XP tokens in the Multiplayer modes.
It’s very easy to do and won’t prove to be a complicated procedure whatsoever.
To begin with, Call of Duty players need to be in a Multiplayer lobby.
There, they should see a button for XP Tokens, which is located next to the button for customizing loadouts.
They just need to click it and activate the tokens.

Which means they will perish according to their given duration from the moment they get activated.
So if the players fail to play the game for a given token’s duration, they will go waste.
