The user claimed that FaZe’s Swagg and “Zooma” have revealed that Call of Duty will do away with this feature.

However, there’s no certainty about it and it’s just a possibility as of now.

Also, another interesting thing to note in this Reddit post is that it states that the two aforementioned creators know about such kind of internal intel.

In a way, it implies that Infinity Ward may be seeking help from the creators.

Maybe they want to get the feedback and then decide whether they need to completely remove side cancelling or not in Modern Warfare II.
