In fact, players have been reporting the same issue since Warzone’s launch.

However, the developers didn’t seem to pay heed, until now, when Raven Software silently added a much-demanded mechanic.

It automatically equips when players enter an area enveloped with health-degrading gas.

Further, the animation associated with players equipping the mask prevents them from pulling out a weapon and defend themselves from enemies.

Well, Raven Software finally seems to have added a setting to help the situation.

Warzone receives a helpful setting to tackle the issue According to an update from Charlie Intel, Raven Software has very silently added a much-requested mechanic.

Players will, very soon, be able to choose whether or not to equip a gas mask when in a gas-filled area.

However, the change didn’t show up on the recent patch notes.

As it happens, players can enable the option to use a toggle key to equip the gas mask as and when needed.

They can head over to the Controller or Keyboard & Mouse section in their in-game settings to locate the as ‘Gas Mask Is Toggle Only’ setting.

However, the setting doesn’t seem to work in-game yet, even though it’s available.

Raven Software may have added the feature early, as Charlie pointed out.

This would definitely help fans avoid a lot of helplessness when entering a cloud of gas! ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Although Raven Software has recently been trying to add useful tweaks to Warzone, it hasn’t always been the same.

Warzone received a much-needed overhaul when Vanguard’s content fused with the free-to-play battle royale.

Since then, the developers have actively tried to eliminate bugs, in addition to paying more attention to cheaters.
