Under this, many accounts of cheaters or those who were found offensive have been banned.
To make it more clear, the makers recently shared the data regarding their initiative of removing toxic player base.

According to them, they have come up with strong measures so far to ban toxic players from the franchise.
In fact, they even shared a progress report, while sharing the figures of banned accounts so far.
Per Call of Duty, over 500,000 players have been removed from the game as part of the anti-toxicity campaign.
Moreover, around 300,000 accounts have been renamed since the launch of an automated filtering system.
The latter is part of Activision‘s commitment to anti-toxicity in-game.

After Call of Duty’s team shared the data regarding banned accounts, most of the players on social media started mocking them.
According to the fans, nothing has changed in online matches.
Many of the users even mentioned that instead of actual cheaters getting banned, regular players are losing their accounts due to the filtering system.
Simply put, they are not satisfied with how CoD’s team is handling the issue of removing toxicity.
