According to NPD, Modern Warfare II is 2022’s best-selling gaming title in the US, based on the dollar sales.
The Call of Duty entry has now dethroned Elden Ring, another blockbuster release of 2022 made by FromSoftware.
It also won the ‘Game of the Year’ award in the recently held The Game Awards event on December 8.
Despite the brilliant accomplishment, the juggernaut from Activision has managed to outperform Hidetaka Miyazaki‘s open-world fantasy RPG.
