Along with quickscoping, a kill-to-death ratio is a tradition that goes back to Call of Duty’s roots as players desperately try and perform well to keep their K/D high.
Ensuring you’re scoring more kills than you’re dying is a supposed measurement of how good a player you are, and keeping an eye on your K/D can tell you if you need to improve.
For many CoD players, and now Modern Warfare 2 users, a positive K/D is a badge of honor, and we’ve put together a quick guide on how to check your stats in MW2.
Modern Warfare 2 K/D ratio stats guide For the time being, until the devs presumably add in Leaderboards, the only way you can check your kill-to-death ratio is on a match-by-match basis at the end of each game.
Certain content that CoD fans have come to know and understand have been conspicuously absent from Modern Warfare 2’s full release, and the Barracks, which normally contains Leaderboards and stats-tracking, is one of the features not in the game yet.
There has been no word on why this is just yet, so until then, if you are desperate for up-to-date information on your K/D in MW2, then you’ll have to do it manually by noting it down after each match you play.
