The world mourned the loss of an icon.

26th January 2020, a helicopter took flight through a hilly area of California.

The reason for the crash was determined to be bad weather.

Kobe Bryant, daughter Gianna and 7 other passengers lost their lives tragically.

2 years later, wife Vanessa Bryant along with Chris Chester, who lost his wife and daughter in the crash have filed a lawsuit.

They have sued the L.

County Sheriff’s Dept.

and other authorities for taking pictures on their phones of the deceased.

The pictures were also then allegedly shared among co-workers, friends, family and even strangers.

There has been a revelation recently regarding the sharing of the said pictures.

One of them, Michael Russell is an L.

Deputy.

He revealed that pictures of deceased Kobe and daughter Gianna were shared shortly after the tragic crash.

He then shared the pictures to Santa Clarita deputy Ben Sanchez.

Russell testified that he and Ben got in a Call of Duty session.

While talking in the game party, Michael asked Ben if he wanted to see the pictures.

To this Ben replied that he did.

The pictures were shared during that gaming session after the conversation, as per Michael’s testimony.

This was the next day after the crash.

However, Russell received the pictures just hours after the accident happened.

A fellow deputy, Joey Cruz sent the pictures to Michael Russell.

Michael accepted that it was not his business doing that, but also revealed that he got a write up as punishment for the same.

He testified that Raul Versales, who was the deputy in command, ordered him to take those pictures.

Although later an audio recording was presented as evidence which had Raul refusing to give any such orders.

Douglas stood his ground and did not know about Raul’s denial.

This was another emotionally draining day for wife Vanessa Bryant.

Throughout the trial, she has been a subject of difficult moments, having to revisit the horrific crash.

She has often cried and left the premises during the trial.

This just proves how hard it has been on her along with all the others who lost their family members.
