And since these pamphlets were glued at the front of the packet instead of inside, many notorious fans took the chance to steal them and sell them online.

Call of Duty insider, Modern Warzone, tweeted, “On the ground reporting from Walmart on the Jack Links beef jerky double XP codes for Modern Warfare 2 being stolen from every store I can find.

” He further noted, “If you want to buy Jack Links for 2X XP make sure you buy a bag that hasn’t had its code stolen.

” Fans get furious at someone claiming to be the thief This response from the guiltless thief did not sit well with the fans.

They were pissed with this infuriating behavior from the individual and lashed out at him.

Some fans said that it is surprising for this person named siq to even get out of his house.

siq, who claimed to be the one stealing the pamphlets, said that he stole them to sell them.

In the same Twitter thread, he also said that he has sold almost all the codes.

Later, some fans got mad at him and said that he should get a job, to which siq replied, “I’m making money off bozos like you.

” This got him/her a lot of negative attention and fans alongside critics also criticized this kind of behavior.
