Warzone 2 Interrogation system explained: How to interrogate enemies in Warzone & DMZ

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 brings a brand-new Interrogation system similar to Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite, so here’s how the new Warzone and DMZ system works.

Warzone 2 is doing plenty to set it itself apart as a true sequel to the original game, bringing the new Al Mazrah map, featuring only Modern Warfare 2 weapons, changing how players access their loadouts, and new mechanics.

One of these new mechanics is an Interrogation system similar to those found in games like Battlefield Hardline, Rainbow Six Siege, and Fortnite.

Here’s how Warzone 2 and DMZ‘s new Interrogation system works, and how to interrogate enemy players.

What is Warzone 2’s Interrogation system? Warzone 2 and DMZ’s roadmap revealed an interrogation system where a player can interrogate a downed enemy player to reveal their teammates’ locations.

We haven’t seen any footage of this system yet, but it will likely be similar to Fortnite and Rainbow Six Siege, where nearby teammates are live-pinged following a successful interrogation.

Teamwork will be even more essential, you’ll want to stay close to your allies to protect them from any would-be interrogators.

How to interrogate enemies in Warzone 2 & DMZ To interrogate a player in Warzone 2 and DMZ, you’ll need to approach them while they’re down and initiate the interrogation.

Your character will hold a knife to their throat and pull out a device with a progress bar, so you’ll need to wait a few seconds before it can triangulate the enemies’ positions.

We’re not sure exactly what button it will be, but it might be what happens if you try to perform an execution (hold melee) while facing the enemy.

Once Warzone 2 and DMZ officially go live on November 16, we’ll be sure to break down exactly how the new Interrogation system works.
