Titles like Vanguard, Warzone were a success and soon Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will add to the massive fanbase.
CoD: Mobile is also massively successful, and now the developers are looking to make another hand-held title.
A Warzone game that will be available on mobile could be arriving shortly.
Here’s everything we know about Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile so far.
At the time of writing, we do not have any confirmed information concerning the release date of Warzone Mobile.
However, we do know that major details about the game will be revealed at September 15’s Call of Duty Next event.
Activision confirmed on March 10 that the game is in development, but they’ve not provided the release date yet.
Call of Duty Next isn’t guaranteed to provide a release date, but you’ll want to keep an eye out for exciting Warzone Mobile news.
Prior to the official announcement of the game, a few leaks suggested that the handheld battle royale game could see a release as early as 2022.
However, this is purely speculation, and we’ll be sure to update you as soon as we know the official release date.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile details & new studios Along with the Warzone Mobile announcement, Activision also declared that they will be hiring individuals to work on the project.
Activision are aiming to hire talented individuals to help work on the game.
“From production roles to engineering, design, art, marketing, and more, we’re looking for game-makers, passionate fans, and genuinely awesome people to join our diverse team, inspired to deliver the next world-class mobile gaming experience to fans,” they announced.
If you’re interested in being a part of the team that is tasked to develop Warzone Mobile, then you can visit Activision’s job board to see if any of the roles align with your skills.
Activision have gathered several notable gaming studios and teams to work on the project.
Solid State Studios (Activision’s new internal mobile team), Digital Legends, Beenox, Activision Shanghai, and Demonware will all come together to develop Warzone Mobile.

While we don’t know what this shared progression refers to, all signs point toward Warzone 2.
We know that Warzone Pacific Season 5 will be the final season of Warzone Pacific.
Therefore, shared progression with the previous iteration of Warzone seems unlikely.
Instead, it’s possible that the devs are hinting at shared progression with Warzone 2 since it will be a brand-new title and potentially launch around the same time as Warzone Mobile.

The blog confirmed that the game’s development is set to continue and that a Closed Alpha period would begin soon, “the game is still in development, and we are in the midst of our first gameplay test in the Project Aurora Closed Alpha.
” Unfortunately, players cannot sign up to the Alpha and can only access an early version of Warzone Mobile through private invitations.
The devs explained the reason behind the small test group, “the Closed Alpha is limited in size and with it we are looking to simply start to improve tuning, stress test matches, identify and fix bugs, as well as collect feedback and insights on all aspects of the game as new features come online.
” On September 8, the devs confirmed that Warzone Mobile is still in a private Alpha state, but we’ll let you know how to pre-register once that information becomes available.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Verdansk map On September 8, a new Warzone Mobile teaser hinted at the return of Verdansk.
While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it seems players could be heading back to Verdansk when Warzone Mobile releases.
This is great for players who have been calling for the map to return.
In addition, it seems the meta description on the Warzone Mobile website also revealed the existence of 120 player lobbies.
Given that this version of Warzone is on mobile, players may have expected a smaller player count, but it seems the devs are dedicated to delivering an authentic Warzone experience.
Call of Duty data miner ‘TheGhostOfHope, also hinted that the classic Verdansk map will make its return, prior to the teaser.
The leaker also claimed that the Verdansk in Warzone Mobile will be an alternative version of the classic map, featuring a mix of certain familiar POIs that fans have seen before along with some new locations.
