So much so, that their executives have left no stone unturned in preventing the massive $68.
7 billion deal from getting completed.
It’s now clear that Sony doesn’t want to let CoD go away from the PlayStation, no matter what.

Recently, a report revealed that Microsoft had offered Sony a 10-year deal to keep Call of Duty on the PlayStation.
But Sony reportedly didn’t comment regarding this offer.
It implies that it’s probably not interested in having a limited deal for the action franchise.

The company believes that if the record-breaking deal between the Xbox maker and CoD publisher is sealed, it will lose the access to the long-running action series to make it available on the PlayStation.
However, it seems like Microsoft is making efforts to not let this happen.
According to a report by The New York Times, the company did reach out to Sony, earlier this month, and offered them a 10-year deal.
Under this, the PlayStation maker will get to keep Call of Duty on its platform for a duration of the next decade.
However, Sony didn’t comment on this offer at all.

Only two of them, from Saudi Arabia and Brazil, have approved it so far.
Meanwhile, it appears like fans are not happy with the way Sony has presented its stance for Call of Duty to stay only on the PlayStation as an exclusive.
Most of the people on social media mocked the industry giant for its recent actions in order to keep CoD franchise on its consoles.
“With the way Sony has been acting, they do not deserve 10 years,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
